8-26-20 THOUGHTS

We will think about some awesome words this morning, that build our confidence.  There is no doubt that these words come from the mind of our God!
INTERCEDE  =   “to act or interpose in behalf of someone with difficulty or trouble. To attempt to reconcile differences between two people or groups.  Mediate”      [dictionary.com]
These are rich verses.   Because HE lives...    they are ACTIVE VERSES!

Isa 53:12 Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors.
Now watch the fulfilment of this verse.
Rom 8:34    who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
1Tim 2:5  For there is one God, [and] one mediator also between God and men, [the] man Christ Jesus,
Heb 7:25  Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
1John 2:1   My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;

Heb 2:18   For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.
Heb 4:14-16   Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15  For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. 16  Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Heb 9:24    For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a [mere] copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

Our minds may be off in some far off place...  Jesus is actively IN OUR LIVES!  
PRACTICE the PRESENCE OF GOD today!

My Prayer:
Thank you Oh God for the ways you have demonstrated your great love for us.  Cause us to love even more as we perceive your love in fuller ways.  You are an awesome God,  Oh Father of all who love your name and the name of Jesus..  We are ever in your presence and in the presence your dear son Jesus.  Help our own hearts and minds to receive that presence.
